My teaching style is informed by time working in the public education system along with years of playing music in the bluegrass, folk, and old-time community settings.

Lessons support you to deepen your musicianship, both as an individual and group-oriented musician. I’m here to empower you to be your best musical self and to enjoy the gift of playing music with others whether it’s in a jam, with friends, or even in a band.

Singing & Songwriting

Singing lessons can include breathing, basic vocal technique, and finding and arranging harmonies.

In songwriting lessons, we can workshop something you’ve already got cooking, or explore ways to develop your creative muscles.

How much do you charge?

Regular lesson rates are on a sliding scale from $85-$125 for an hour lesson, and $45-65 for a 30 minute lesson.
